Michael Planet, Court Executive Officer and Jury Commissioner, recently announced that the deadline for Grand Jury applications for fiscal year 2006-2007 (July 1 through June 30) has been extended to Friday, April 28, 2006.
Michael Planet, Court Executive Officer and Jury Commissioner, recently announced that the deadline for Grand Jury applications for fiscal year 2006-2007 (July 1 through June 30) has been extended to Friday, April 28, 2006.Efforts are made each year to include a demographic cross section of Ventura County’s population. A large number of applications and nominations are sought from residents from all five of the county’s supervisorial districts. The number of applications received so far has not met our goal. For this reason, the court is encouraging all citizens who may have an interest in serving on the Grand Jury to submit an application by Friday, April 28.
