SPHS students celebrate GPA success

Some 500 Santa Paula High School students were honored last week with a celebration in the varsity baseball field outfield. The celebration was for students who received a 3.0 GPA for the first semester as well as those who raised their GPA by 25 percent over the last semester. The students were treated to hamburgers, chili beans and lemonade while a DJ played music.
