The Santa Paula Little League, Minor A Yankees took the championship last week with an 8-0 win over the Marlins.
Yankees’ pitcher Tony Contreras threw a complete game, allowing only one hit in the shutout victory. He struck out seven batters and allowed only two base runners for the game, Malique James Galvan had a single in the 5th inning and Justin Gaeta earned a walk in the 6th.The Yankees Top Hitters: Tony Contreras - 1 double, 2 singles; Peter Lopez - 3 singles; A.J.
