A memorial service will be held in Charles’ honor at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16 at the Skillin Carroll Chapel in Santa Paula. Arrangements are under the direction of Skillin Carroll Mortuary, 738 E. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula.

Charles Eugene Lutts
Charles Lutts, 78, a long time Santa Paula resident, passed away at his home on Thursday morning, May 8, 2008, after a long illness.Born in Bristow, Oklahoma on January 15, 1930, Charles and his family moved to California when he was only 12 years old. He was a proud brick and stonemason who as a pastime loved to place bets at the horse races.Charles was preceded in death by six of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his brother, Len D. Lutts of Santa Paula; his daughters, Cinda Lutts, Laura Caughey and Kim Carlson; his son Robb Lutts; his grandchildren, Tegan Trocha, Lechelle Caughey, Nanmarck Dimond, and Allene Carlson; his great-grandchildren, Caylin Trocha, Madison Trocha, Balin Dimond and Ky Dimond; and his nephews, Louie and John Morgan.
