Edward “Pete” Garcia Edward “Pete” Garcia, 68, of Santa Paula, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Pete enjoyed camping and working on cars, and attended the Chapel of Praise Church.He is survived by wife Emma Garcia, daughter Arlene, sons Steve Garcia, Randy (Mary Ellen) Garcia, Ronnie (Ashley) Garcia, son Edward J. Garcia Jr. (Vanessa), daughter Sharon Garcia-Rodriguez (Noel Rodriguez), 16 grandkids, six great grandkids, sisters Lupe and Genieva Reyes, brother David Garcia, brother Jimmy Garcia, sister Grace Vasquez, sister Gloria Luna, Esther Collins, brothers Art Garcia, Ernest Garcia and Benny Garcia.A visitation will be held at Skillin-Carroll Chapel in Santa Paula on Thursday, October 1 from 5 to 8 p.m., with a vigil beginning at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2 at the Latin Assembly of God, 412 N. 12th St. in Santa Paula at 10 a.m., followed with burial at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.
