To kick-off March, Music in Our Schools Month, the first annual Santa Paula City-wide Honor Choir concert will be held in the Briggs Auditorium on March 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
Forty-three choral students from both Briggs and Isbell schools recently auditioned, and the top twenty sopranos and altos were chosen to represent their schools in this prestigious choir. Students representing Briggs are as follows: Vanessa Bazan, Angelica Castillo, William Cox, Tori Miller, Ivana Montalvo, Chris OCampo, Jessica Olivares, Alfonso Ortiz, and Jazmin Rostami. Students representing Isbell are as follows: Josephina Cruz, Taylor Duchai, Nicole Enriquez, Irlanda Guerrero, Karen Huante, Daniel Lopez, Flor Martinez, Chelise Nava, Zoe Olivares, Jennica Onstot, and Marcos Servantes.
Following the Honor Choir performance, solos, duets, and small group selections played by the talented Briggs Beginning Band students will “top off” the evening.
