Josh Stockton to play at Concordia University

Joshua Stockton of Santa Paula has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Concordia University in Irvine.
Stockton was a four-year Varsity starter at Villanova Prep and a four-year member of the All Frontier Team. He was also named to the All CIF team two years and played in the East-West All-Star game this year.
He is Villanova’s all time leader in both hits with 114 and RBI’s with 81. He lead the team his Senior year with his batting average of .500, 32 hits, 10 doubles, 2 home runs and 20 RBI’s. His four-year career stats were an impressive .459 batting average, 114 hits, 81 RBI’s, 9 home runs, 3 triples and 27 doubles. He was a member of the 2011 Frontier League Championship Team.
He is also a scholar athlete and had an overall 3.9 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation and graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors. He is the son of Patrick and Chanda Stockton of Santa Paula.
