Santa Paula Police are looking for the suspect in an early Saturday morning stabbing where the victim sought help from those working the window at a 24-hour drive-thru restaurant.

According to Santa Paula Police Det. Sgt. Wally Boggess, the incident occurred Saturday, May 18 at approximately 4 a.m. “Officers were dispatched to Jack in the Box,” located at the southwest corner of Palm Avenue and Harvard Boulevard, “in reference to a stabbing that had just occurred.”

Boggess said upon arrival on scene, officers “came into contact with the victim seated outside the restaurant,” who they found had two stab wounds to the torso. The victim, a 52-year-old male resident of  Santa Paula, told officers he was accosted by a subject outside the eatery and “After he was stabbed he asked the personnel working in the drive-thru to call 9-1-1... and they did.”
