    Irma Lee Hamilton 

    COMING HOME

    Irma Lee Hamilton (Boren) passed away September 19, 2014 in Medford OR. She was born July 28, 1926 in Santa Paula on the Limoneria Ranch to Thomas Raymond Boren  and Opal Eunice Boren (Arnold)

    Irma married Homer Scott Hamilton in 1949 and they raised four children, Lydia, Thomas, Shelley & Raymond.  She began working as a dispatcher in 1960 for the Santa Paula Police Department.  She retired from the department in 1986 as dispatcher supervisor.

    Irma moved to Oregon in 1989 and lived there until her passing. She is survived by three of her children, Lydia Hamilton of Grants Pass OR, Shelley Haught (Hamilton) (Jim) of Central Point OR & Raymond Hamilton (Wendy) of Keizer OR. She had five living grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott, her son Thomas, her grandson Mark & her sister Alpha E Brown.

    Memorial service will be held Saturday October 4 at Lifeway Baptist Church in Santa Paula. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Santa Paula Police Memorial Fund in her name.
