Betty Riley Sisk

Betty Riley Sisk passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 in Palm Desert after a long courageous battle with cancer.  She was a 1957 graduate of Santa Paula High School and Ventura College in 1959.  She enjoyed being a High School Cheerleader and a member of the Ventura College Pirette Dance team.  She kept in touch with many friends from both schools throughout the years.  A good portion of her life was spent raising her family in Cupertino, California, where she was an avid tennis player who enjoyed playing competitive matches.
Betty is survived by her loving family.  Her husband  of 53 years James Sisk; two sons Jon (Margie) Sisk, and Jeff (Anna) Sisk; five grandchildren Riley, Makenzie, Addy and Jim Sisk, and Harris Lewis.  She is also survived by a brother Ron (Dottie) Riley; two sisters Jan (Bob) Whitlach and Marilyn (Doug) Sawyer; three sisters-in-law Marti, Lucy, and Ann Riley; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Jean Riley of Santa Paula and three brothers, Tom, Dick, and Bud Riley.
A Celebration of her life is being planned for a later date in Santa Cruz. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice.
