Freeda Winget Freeda Winget, 81, of Santa Paula, passed away on November 13, 2002 at Santa Paula Memorial Hospital. She was born January 15, 1921 in Havana, Arkansas and had been a resident of Ventura County for the last 50 years, with the last 30 years being in Santa Paula. She was a wonderful mother, a loving and caring grandmother, and a very special lady to all who knew her.She is survived by her daughter Retha and husband James Antwine of Santa Paula; sister Loyie Kennedy of Ventura; grandchildren Kimberly, Michael and Gregory Antwine of Santa Paula, Wanda Moon of Missouri, Steven Winget of Sun Valley, and Billy Wayne Winget of Arkansas; great grandchildren Richie and Stormy Tubbs of Missouri, and Robert and Andrew Winget of Sun Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much.She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Winget, sons Mack and Frank Winget, and grandson Frankie Winget.Graveside services were held Saturday, November 16th at Santa Paula Cemetery, where her final resting place is with her husband and sons. Pastor Walter LaPointe officiated at the services, with a special eulogy given by her nephew Bob Leslie.
A special thank you to TLC Hospice, especially Leyan Sun and Chris Cartright for the loving care they gave Freeda during her time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the TLC Hospice of Moorpark.
