Yankees win first two but lose third game to Foothill

The 2005 District 63 Tournament of Champions has wrapped up play.
The Yankees of Santa Paula took second place in the Minor Division with a 6-3 loss to Foothill.The Yankees started off the tourney with a 12-10 win over Saticoy. They followed that with a 6-3 victory over Montalvo.In the final match up with Foothill Santa Paula was behind 4-0 going into the bottom of the fifth inning when the Yanks brought in three runs. Foothill answered with two more in the sixth and the Yankees were unable to catch up.Santa Paula hitters were: Brian Hinojosa with two singles; Danny Cortez had one single and Kaylee Rodriguez added another single.
