He and his family live in Moorpark. He has two children, ages 15 and 11.

Dr. Mikael Hakansson, a family practice physician, is joining the practice of Dr. Jon L. Schrock in Santa Paula.
Dr. Mikael Hakansson, a family practice physician, is joining the practice of Dr. Jon L. Schrock in Santa Paula.Dr. Hakansson recently completed his Family Practice Residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California and served as an Associate Chief of Residents.He was born and raised in Sweden and obtained his medical degree at Lund University, graduating in 2001. He is fluent in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. His background includes work as a registered nurse in critical care for several years in the U.S. prior to his decision to become a doctor.
