SPESD board begins process of making cuts in budget

The Santa Paula Elementary School District board started the process of making more budget cuts Tuesday, as they try to erase an expected deficit of about $3 million dollars.

Lions Club hands out American flags to McKevett students

The Santa Paula Lions Club handed out American flags to the entire student body of McKevett School last Friday. Lions Club members and representatives of the Veterans of Foreign Wars passed out the flags. It was part of a morning flag ceremony at the school, delayed from last week because of rain.
