Fire in storage area quickly put out

A fire started in a storage area used by the Vons Center maintenance crews Monday afternoon about 2:30 p.m. A full structure response was called with Santa Paula and County Fire engines responding. It appears that a golf cart power system caused the fire. Overhead fire sprinklers kept the fire in check until fire personnel quickly knocked down the fire.
