Miranda Magana pitched a complete 5-inning game at home giving up only 3 hits and had 11 strikeouts with AJ Payne behind the plate in Tuesday’s 16-2 win over Bishop Diego.
The Lady Cardinal’s defense played well with no errors, and the offense came through with 14 hits. Top Santa Paula batters - Alyia Alamillo went 4 for 4 with a Home Run, three singles, 4 runs scored and 3 RBI’s. Miranda Magana went 2 for 4 with a triple, a single 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. Andrea Rodriguez went 2 for 3 with a double, a single, 3 RBI’s and 1 run scored. Samantha Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with a double, a single and 4 runs scored.
The Lady Cardinals will host Malibu (league game) Thursday at 3:30. The Santa Paula Lady Cards team record is14-4 overall and 4-1 in League.
