Our TARGET is Reading!
The Target Corporation presented Glen City with a grant for $500 to buy books.
Even better, the (bottom photos) employees from Ventura West Target store in the Pacific View Mall came to Glen City and read Dr. Seuss books to the Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade classes. (Above photo) Mrs. Misenhimer, principal of Glen City, took them to each of the classrooms and introduced these reading heroes to the students. Everyone enjoyed the time they spent together and the students ant students hope that they will return to read again.
