Alma Sue Bustillos Scholle

(1948-2014)

Sue Bustillos Scholle was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on December 15th of 2014. Sue wanted everyone to know that she loved Jesus first. Sue was a true servant of God and did everything in her power to spread the Gospel. Sue spent her days on earth ministering to the sick and brokenhearted in the Healing (Prayer) Rooms and was a blessing to all she encountered.

The Bustillos family is very proud of their Texas heritage. Their forefather was Milton Favor, a U.S. Historical figure that has been decorated by the U.S. Department of Interiors for his part in retaining the State of Texas for the U.S. during the Mexican American war. He was a pioneer of German decent. He built several forts: Fort Cibolo, La Cienega and La Morita that still stand to this day, where he introduced cattle ranching to the State of Texas.

Sue was born in Santa Paula, California into a family of ten siblings. Her parents were Alfonso and Manuela Bustillos. In 1978 she married her surviving husband, Robbin Scholle. They have four children, Jolynn Boyer, Erin Guzman, Ryan Joseph Scholle, and Brooke Rauch; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchilren. Her surviving brothers and sisters are Jesse Bustillos, Donald Bustillos, Al Bustillos, Elva Marin, Gloria McGraw, and Barbara Scheibelhut, and she is preceded by Peter Bustillos, Tommy Bustillos, Gracie Hurtado.

There will be a celebration of Sue’s life at the Knights of Columbus, 136 South Ojai Street in Santa Paula, 93060, this coming Saturday, December 20th at 11:00 am.

Sue was entrusted to the care of the family owned JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE. Ventura. 643-8623.
