SP Firefighters respond to the
scene for SCVB&GC STEM program

Santa Paula Firefighters responded to the scene of a donation when they presented a $500 check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Clara Valley to support the club’s after school STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) that raises interest in the studies by mixing fun with education. Those on hand at the Harding Park Club House for the donation included Boys & Girls Clubs Executive Director Jan Marholin (4th from left) and Santa Paula Fire Chief Rick Araiza (5th from left) as well as a bunch of Club Kids that were delighted to see so many firefighters pull up in the shiny red fire engine.
