Santa Paula News

Fourth grade students from Barbara Webster School got to tour the Red Hot Foods facility on Railroad Avenue. The students got to see how some of the peppers used in their products are grown. They were especially fascinated with the hydroponic growing greenhouse. Butch and Burma Baselice moved Red Hot Foods to Santa Paula from Oxnard in 2005 and opened their Boutique California Cannery, licensed by the State of California and FDA approved. The cannery was moved to its present location in Santa Paula late in 2009. Red Hot Foods currently has over 100 products and continues growing.
