SPPD patrol car, private vehicle involved in Friday collision

The California Highway Patrol is determining the cause of a collision that occurred Friday evening involving a Santa Paula Police patrol unit and a private vehicle. According to SPPD Sgt. Ken Clark the March 18 collision occurred 7:53 p.m. at the corner of West Harvard Boulevard and Steckel Drive. The two SPPD Officers in the patrol unit were not injured but a person in the second vehicle was transported to Santa Paula Hospital for a precautionary examination. Per policy, the CHP is the lead agency investigating the collision.
