SPTC auditions for “It’s a Wonderful Life”

The Santa Paula Theater Center will hold auditions for the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” on Saturday, September 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, September 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave. in Simi Valley.

The Santa Paula Theater Center will hold auditions for the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” on Saturday, September 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, September 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave. in Simi Valley. This non-musical stage dramatization based on the classic Frank Capra film starring Jimmy Stewart is under the direction of Gerald Castillo, with Leslie Nichols producing.“It’s a Wonderful Life” will play from December 8 through 23 at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. Performances are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings, with 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays. The large cast requires actors from ages 10 to the 70s, both males and females of all types. There are many opportunities for smaller ensemble parts with lines.
