Get ready for the Halloween Parade!

The annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Santa Paula Optimist Club will be held on Saturday, October 28.

The annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Santa Paula Optimist Club will be held on Saturday, October 28. All children preschool through 6th grade are invited to be part of the parade. There is no cost to enter.Children should arrive in costume by 9 a.m. at Ebell Park (7th and Main Street). Judging will occur for all groups preschool through 6th grade children at 9:30 a.m. sharp, with the parade beginning at 10 a.m. Please note that ALL groups will be judged, including preschool.The parade will start at Ebell Park, continue east down Main Street, then go right on Mill Street, ending at Veterans Park. No pets will be permitted in the parade or at either of the parks during the event.The Kiwanis Club of Santa Paula is donating candy, which they will pass out to all parade participants at Veterans Park.
This is the twelfth year the parade has been sponsored by the Optimist Club. Previously, the parade was put on by the Santa Paula Women’s Club.The Optimist Club, “Friend of Youth,” sponsors many activities for youth in our community.
