The Ventura County Writers Club announces their 2007 Poetry Contest open to members and all residents of Ventura County, 18 years and older.

The Ventura County Writers Club announces their 2007 Poetry Contest open to members and all residents of Ventura County, 18 years and older. There are two categories; published poets and unpublished poets. Winners will be announced April 1 and winners will read their poems at the April 10th meeting. A fee of $4.00 per poem is required, $3.00 for members. Poems may not have been previously published. Entries must be postmarked no later than March 12. First prize winner will receive $75, second prize $50 and third prize $25.
