Cards miss out in two games this week

The Cardinal varsity baseball team lost two games this week. Oak Park came to town Monday for a make-up game and left with a 17-0 Tri-Valley League win.Andrew Burboa and Michael Reyes each hit doubles for Santa Paula. Aaron Gomez and Tomas Huizar each had singles for the Cards.Tuesday the Cards hosted Fillmore in their next-to-last season game and the last home game. Fillmore took a 22-2 victory. Matt Phillips, Michael McInerney, Nester Nunez and Jeremie Prado all hit singles for the Cards. Aaron Gomez had a double.
