Mary Cantero and Abel Hernandez, Jr. of Santa Paula exchanged wedding vows May 26 at the Luxor in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Rev. Michael Crisci officiated. The bride is the daughter of Anna Cantero and the late Jose Cantero of Santa Paula. The groom is the son of Rosa Hernandez and the late Abel Hernandez, Sr. of Santa Paula.The bride wore a beige and white A-line gown with pearls, and her veil was adorned with flowers and pearls. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The groom was attired in a black and gray tuxedo, with a yellow rose boutonnière.The couple’s daughter, Cierra Hernandez was junior flower girl. She wore a beige and white A-line gown like the bride’s, white pearls in her hair, and carried a sunflower bouquet.The bride was given away by her uncle, Ruben Rodriguez, and traditional music was played. A reception dinner with family and friends was held at the Luxor buffet.The bride attended Santa Paula High School. She is employed as a secretary at the Motion Picture Television Hospital in Woodland Hills.
