The Cards started in the weight room this week and are continuing spring practices in the evening. Summer football ends on July 13. The boys will be able to use the weight room on their own through the summer. Fall practice begins August 13.

Santa Paula Cardinals take part in annual Passing and Hogs Tournament

The Cardinal football team participated in the annual 7 on 7 Passing and Hogs Tournament last Saturday, held at Pacifica High School in Oxnard.
There are several different events, testing the skills and endurance of the linemen as well as the abilities of the quarterbacks and receivers.Newbury Park High School came away with the title at the end of the day. Thousand Oaks High was runner-up.Santa Paula didn’t place with the top teams, but they were competing for the most part against much bigger schools.
