The Cardinal wrestling team remains undefeated in the Tri-Valley League after beating Santa Clara 72-12 Wednesday evening.
Almost all of the Santa Paula wins were by pins, except for two forfeits. Santa Paula results:Isaac Lopez (105) pin, Joseph Rodriguez (112) forfeit, Rigo Ruiz (125) FF, Chris Vandergeuten (130) pin, Josh Mendoza (135) pin, Marc Prado (140) pin, Matthew Kohr (145) pin, Damian Henthorn (160) pin, Santiago Rodriguez (171) pin, Adam Chojnacki (215) pin, Michael Gonzalez (Hvy) pin.There were three JV matches. Santa Paula wrestlers won all three. In an exhibition match, Rigo Ruiz (125) won by a pin. Vanessa Sandoval (135) won by a pin, as did Jeremy Welch (180).
