Varsity Baseball has tough time with St. Bonaventure

The Santa Paula High School Boys Varsity Baseball team had a tough time with the St. Bonaventure High School Baseball team both Wednesday and Friday of last week. On Wednesday SPHS Baseball hosted St. Bonaventure and lost 14-1 with the game called after 5 innings.Aaron Gomez was 1 for 2 with a double and a run scored. The run was scored on a sacrifice bunt by Jeremie Prado.On Friday the Cardinals traveled to St. Bonaventure and lost 9-0.Following both games Santa Paula’s overall record is 7-8 and 0-4 in league play. St. Bonaventure stands at 12-4 and 4-0 in league play.
The next game the Cardinals will travel to Malibu to continue league play. The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.The next home game will be Friday, April 11 against Malibu. Games are played at the Santa Paula High School Baseball field
