A Ventura County native, Sanchez currently lives in Portland, Oregon, and has released four CDs.

Award-winning singer/songwriter Paul Sanchez will be performing Sunday, July 27 at a house concert at the home of Chris and Yvonne Wilson, located at 999 Cliff Drive in Santa Paula.
Award-winning singer/songwriter Paul Sanchez will be performing Sunday, July 27 at a house concert at the home of Chris and Yvonne Wilson, located at 999 Cliff Drive in Santa Paula. The performance will take place at 3 p.m., with a $5 requested donation. Please call (805) 525-0237 for reservations and information.Influenced by a variety of musical styles, Sanchez’s songs contain elements from a wide variety of musical interests, from bluegrass to Cajun to popular music and contemporary folk. They express his impressions of the hopes and struggles of the people in the world around him, as well as the emotions inside himself.Sanchez has been performing professionally for over 20 years. He has appeared at the Kerrville Folk Music Festival in Texas and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and has also opened concerts for musicians like Ricky Skaggs and Lucinda Williams. He has won songwriting competitions at the Napa Valley Folk Music Festival and the Columbia River Folk Music Festival as well as being a finalist at the songwriting competition at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado.
