The Cards host Golden Valley High from Santa Clarita Friday at 7:30 p.m.“I was very pleased with the outcome of the game, Coach Teohua Sanchez said. “I thought that the players played hard for four quarters of the game. We need to learn how to finish games. Our defense played an excellent game, Coach David Reyes did an excellent job. We had 3 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries. DB Jeff Ontiveros had two interceptions, an 81 yard interception returned for a TD. On offense we played well at times, we need to improve on certain areas. QB Max Moreno was 19/29 for 306 yards, he passed for 3 Tds and ran for 2 more. WR Zach McClain caught 7 catches totaling 174 yards.”
