He grew up in the San Fernando Valley, graduating from Reseda High School in 1958. The United States Marine Corps dominated the next three years of Frank’s life; his first duty station was a Guard Co. in Guam. After several years there, he began working at Ventura Castings in Newbury Park.In 1978, the Penrose family moved to Santa Paula, and in 1979 Frank began his own company, Aurora Casting and Engineering.
