David Barajas Lopez
David Barajas Lopez, 90, of Santa Paula, a Ventura County resident for 53 years, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. He was born on December 29, 1917 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but was raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.David worked in labor as a tree pruner, which involved traveling to many different places for work. He loved to tell stories about his past adventures and during his younger years. He enjoyed reading and taking care of his garden, and loved to dance.During his lifetime he met many people and acquired enduring friendships. He will be missed dearly.He is preceded in death by Maria Cruz, mother of his eight children, and son Rogelio C. Lopez. David is survived by daughters Minerva Lopez, Armida L. Perez and Rosemary Cervantes; sons Guadalupe C. Lopez, David C. Lopez Jr., Robert C. Lopez and Ruben C. Lopez; 30 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.The family of David Barajas Lopez would like to give a special “Thank you” to all of the staff at Twin Pines Health Care for the care provided to our father.
