Santa Paula native makes it to Kruisin’ Magazine

Santa Paula native Wayne Rhodes has his hot rod featured in last month’s edition of Kruisin’ Magazine. His 1929 Model A roadster is part of an eight page spread in the magazine. Rhodes started out with a rusted out ‘29 Ford roadster body. About a year later, doing all of the work himself with parts found at swap meets, he came up with this beauty. It’s got power too, with a 350-inch Chevrolet small block V-8 and a 3-speed transmission.This isn’t his only work of art. He also recently finished a 1936 Ford coupe for his father.
