Other students competed in Public Speaking and Job Interview competition. Emily Hobson, Devin Munro, & Katie Gialketsis compete in the Regional Finals in Job Interview. Alex Acosta competed in the Prepare Public Speaking competitions with her speech entitled “The Importance of Bioengineering in Agriculture”. Daniella Oliva and Jaymee McInerney served as our Chapter Delegates to vote for our new Regional FFA Officers.

Santa Paula FFA reach Regional FFA Finals in competitions

Kimi Yamamoto was selected to serve as Regional FFA Officer for the South Coast Region on Friday, March 20, 2009 in King City. The South Coast Region reaches from Los Angeles County to Santa Clara County.
Kimi is a Junior at Santa Paula High School and has been an active member of the agriculture program for the last three years. She has had several Agricultural Projects, which include a Market Steers, Replacement/Breeding Heifer, and a Market Lamb.Kimi has earned her State FFA Degree, she will be receiving the Junior Achievement Award from Santa Paula Rotary, and is one of the top academic students in her Junior Class. Kimi hopes to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and major in Animal Science to pursue a career in Large Animal Veterinary Medicine.
