SPHS Cardinal Jazz Band Concert

The Santa Paula High School Jazz Band will hold its first concert of this school year on November 19th at 7:00 PM in the Freeman Eakins Auditorium on the high school campus. Tickers will be sold at the door for a $5 donation. The Jazz Band played a preview of their concert this last Saturday at the Faulkner Farm Pumpkin Patch. The mini-concert featured several selections for the Jazz Band like “What A Feelin” from Fame. The mini-concert continued with the whole Cardinal Marching Band playing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and several more tunes that had costumed children and their parents tapping their toes and singing along. The mini-concert ended with a short parade around the pumpkin patch on a beautiful Halloween day.The Jazz Band members have been practicing every morning before school for the past two months. We hope to see you on Thursday, November 19th at 7:00 PM at the Auditorium to support these talented and dedicated musicians and enjoy the first Jazz Band Concert of the season.
