Carl Williams 99th Birthday

Carl R. Williams, a lifelong resident of Santa Paula, will be celebrating his 99^th birthday on January 1, 2010 with his daughter Carlyne Graves of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren Michael Graves of Las Vegas, Nevada and Shel Graves of Burbank, California; and nephew Jerry Williams and Jo of Ventura; along with other family and friends.

Carl was born on the Edwards “Orchard Farm” in Saticoy on January 1, 1911, where his father John Williams was ranch foreman. He attended Santa Paula schools and graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1930.

Carl worked on Orchard Farm and for the Edwards family as ranch foreman from his school days until his 80^th birthday, when he retired. He stopped driving in his early 90s, but still remains independent, and resides in his own home in Santa Paula.
