Troop Real Estate Inc. holds 2010 Annual Turkey Drive

In 1999, Troop Real Estate established the 1st Annual “Troop Turkey-a-Thon” to feed those in need. Each year, our goals have been exceeded. All meals are distributed through the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley.
Meals consist of a 10-12 pound turkey, a five-pound bag of potatoes, two cans of green beans, cream of mushroom soup, fresh rolls, and a box of stuffing. Each meal conservatively serves eight people. This year’s goal is to feed 1,875 families countywide, or 15,000 people.
The local Troop office gave away 87 meals which will feed 696 people in Santa Paula and Fillmore.
