January 21, 2011
Santa Paula News

The Rose Garden at Santa Paula Hospital is celebrating a 34th anniversary. It was establish by the Barringer Family and Friends when Cathy’s mother died in 1976.

This is the time of year when roses like to be pruned, sprayed and fertilized. After all this attention, they hibernate for a few months. Then, after a good rest and come Spring, they burst into that first wonderful bloom.

The garden provides a tranquil area with a wide view of this wonderful valley. It serves as a picnic area or hospital chapel for those with family members in the hospital.
