The in the 2012 series “Mastering Your Home Garden” on Saturday, May 19 from 8:15 a.m. to noon at the University of California Hansen Agricultural Center (formerly Faulkner Farm) in Santa Paula.
These workshops present the expertise of Master Gardeners in a lecture and hands-on learning format. There will be opportunity to ask questions, solve problems, and expand gardening knowledge in a beautiful farm setting as well as explore the demonstration and themed gardens of the Hansen Trust. The gardens at any time of the year are worth the visit.
This second workshop of the year will be just in time for the summer gardening season. Two topics will be covered: Growing Terrific Orchids with Master Gardener and Orchid Grower Jim Kindig, and All About Succulents with Master Gardeners Sherrie Basham and Nancy Lindsay.
