Rosario (Rosie) Valverde Razo
Born August 16, 1933 in Holtville, California and died June 30, 2012. She passed away in her home in Santa Paula where she had been a resident for sixty-six years.
Rosie’s joys in life were her grandchildren and supporting them in their scholastic and athletic endeavors. She was the first in her family to graduate from high school. She was also the first of three proud generations to graduate from Santa Paula Union High School in 1952.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gertrude and Gregorio Valverde Jr., Brother Manuel A. Valverde, and her husband Miguel “Mike” C. Razo.
She leaves behind her son Arthur V. Rabago ‘72, grandsons; Aaron J. Rabago ‘99(Luz), Mark A. Rabago ‘01, SGT. (USMC) Arthur V. Rabago Jr. ‘03 ; Great-grandchildren Amris Rabago, Alias Rabago, Isaac Rabago, and Hazel Roman; Her sister Ruth Vasquez ‘54(Robert), sister-in-law Shirley Valverde. She will be missed by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and godchildren.
Funeral Services Honoring the Life of Rosie will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 427 N. Oak Street, Santa Paula beginning with the recitation of the rosary at 7pm, Thursday, July 5th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Friday, July 6 with Father Charles Lueras Officiating. Committal & Interment will follow at Santa Paula Cemetery.

Robert (Bobby) Tubbs, aka Bubba
Bobby joined the Lord, his parents, other members of his family and friends on June 20, 2012. He was at Ventura County Medical Center where he passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief battle with Cancer.
Bobby was born in Santa Paula, California on November 22, 1963. He is survived by his wife Kathy of 21 years, his amazing daughters Kristy and Candace, sister Jo Ellen Tubbs-Smelcer and brother Paul Tubbs (wife Sharon). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Grave side services will be held at on Noon, Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Santa Paula Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at the services and reception immediately following.
The family would like to stay a special thanks to Dr. Michael Tushla, Santa Paula Hospital and VCMC for the excellent/caring care they provided to Bobby. We would also like to thank his employer Thompco for being there for Bobby and our family as well as a big hug to all our friends and family for their support during this time of sorrow.
