Migrant students attending summer session at Grace Thille School ended their summer session with a field day that included breaking open a Piñata. During the summer the children studied about animals that live in zoos and followed up with a trip to Moorpark Zoo to see the animals they studied. They also went to a book faire at Oxnard College where they received a tour of the college and library. Preschool students studied fish and oceans before visiting Ventura Harbor. Fifth through seventh graders went to the Oil Museum to see the fossil displays. In addition, they got the chance to view the mural in town. Photo by Pat Untiedt
