Glen City students recognized for hard work

Students at Glen City School who achieved a score of 400 or above on their California State Test were given a Glen City 400 Plus Club Tee Shirt at a special awards assembly led by Principal, Sheryl Misenhimer.  A score of 350 on the test is equal to proficient at their grade level.  A score of 400 means that the students scored more than proficient, they scored advanced.

Four students had a perfect 600 score in Math.  120 student were inducted in the 400 Plus Club today.  There were 31 3rd graders, 34 4th graders and 55 5th graders.  The shirts were bought for the children by the Glen City PTA.
