Raymond went home to be with our Heavenly Father. He was a Godly man with a heart of gold! Not only would he give you the shirt off his back, he was a hard working, very loving, generous, and overall the best man you could ever know. He loved everybody like they were family, but his treasures were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always set a prime example of good morals and never judged, but loved unconditionally.
He comes from a very humble beginning and leaves behind a family legacy of a successful trucking Business. His first passion was building motorcycles from the frame up, weight lifting, he enjoyed working on cars, and working on his own equipment. For Christmas he was the true Santa Clause with a joyful laugh.
His favorite past time was enjoying a cold beer and watching an ol’ movie.
He leaves behind his high school sweet heart, best friend and love of his life Sylvia Nevarez. Children: Raymond “Toby” Nevarez (Sylvia) and Juliena Alvarez (Joe). Grandchildren Raymond, Selina, and Anthony Nevarez and Alyssa, Joey, Angel, and Julian Alvarez. 11 great-grandchildren Sisters: Josephine Salazar and Amadora Padilla. Many nieces and nephews and a town of friends!
A rosary will be held Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 427 North Oak Street Santa Paula, CA, A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 427 North Oak Street Santa Paula Ca, with Father Charles Lueras C.R.I.C. officiating Interment will follow at Santa Paula Cemetery
