Boy Scouts hear scary stories at Glen Tavern

Santa Paula Boy Scout Troop 302 spent the night at the Glen Tavern this past weekend. As pictured, Troop Leader Al Learn shared some scary ghost stories with the boys. The scouts meet across the the street at the First United Methodist Church and one day Learn got permission to read stories in the lobby of the hotel. They were also treated to a tour of the historic hotel, including some of the “haunted” areas. The owner invited the troop to come back and spend the night.
