Santa Paula Chevrolet sponsors event

The Aviation Museum of Santa Paula’s 2nd annual “Wine & Wings” wine tasting and silent auction fundraising event will be held again this year at the historical California Oil Museum, corner of 10th Street and Main Streets in Santa Paula, on Saturday, April 24th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We welcome Vineyard Outlets of Camarillo as our hosts for the wine tasting in the courtyard. Premier wines, microbrew beers, coffee and other drinks will be offered to go with a fabulous array of hors d’oeuvres and desserts from local restaurants and chefs. Tours of the second floor 19th century Union Oil company headquarters are also included in the ticket price of $25 per quest. To date, over 70 items will be offered for bid in the silent auction including original artwork by Susan Petty, Nancy Tracy, Dorothy Orr, Cynthia Davis and George Andre. Other items of note include dinner for six at the Santa Paula Fire Department station house, arrival via their fire truck; premier reserved seating for eight guests at the Aviation Museum Big Band Dinner Dance in August that will include buffet dinner, complimentary wine and more; Wendell Dowling prints, one being the Santa Paula Depot, beautifully framed by the John Nichols Gallery; and many gift certificates and tickets to wonderful local attractions and other day trip destinations.Donation items are coming in every day. You never know what we may have by April 24th! Last year was a very successful event, thanks to the support of our guests, sponsors and item donators. This year promises to be even better.
