Prado went 5-0 with four pins, Megan Richardson was 4-1 and Mark Quintanilla placed second in the heavyweight division with a 4-1 record. Prado also received Most Valuable Player honors for the tournament.

The Santa Paula High wrestling team reports mixed results this week.
At Buena High School the Cardinal JV lost their meet 60-6, with one win from a forfeit,The varsity fared better, losing to the Buena squad 51-15. David Prado, who is undefeated this year, won his 112-pound match on points. At 160-pounds, Jessie Leidig pinned his opponent in the second period. The third Card win was at 171-pounds. Pat Henthorn pinned his opponent in the second period.At the Ventura JV Tournament Santa Paula placed fourth out of 18 teams.
