Since 1930, Santa Paula Airport has been widely recognized around the world for its antique, classic and experimental aircraft as well as celebrated for its climate and its friendliness. The Airport is located at 830 Santa Maria Street, between Palm and 10th Street exits of the 126 Freeway. Rain cancels the event.

The Aviation Museum of Santa Paula will hold its “First Sunday” Open House on Sunday, March 1st from 10:00am till 3:00pm.
The Aviation Museum of Santa Paula will hold its “First Sunday” Open House on Sunday, March 1st from 10:00am till 3:00pm. Open to the public, this FREE family fun day includes self-guided tours of the “Chain of Hangars” where each hangar offers different and distinctive personal collections. They include antique, classic and experimental aircraft, automobiles, race cars, motorcycles, juke boxes, an enormous antique radio and phonograph collection, paintings, photos, model aircraft and a variety of aviation artifacts. There is something to pique everyone’s interest.Additional features of the First Sunday on March will be a car exhibit by The Milestone Society car club which is a multi-mark club featuring classic, pre- and post-war cars. On every First Sunday, the Young Eagle Program offers free plane rides for ages 8-17 is put on by EAA Chapter 724 (for more information and reservations, contact Neil Fowler at 647-6994). Visitors are encouraged to stop by The Museum’s Gift Shop which sells T-shirts, hats and aviation related items with all proceeds going to the Museum.
