Girls’ soccer team out-shoots Hueneme 5-1

The Lady Cardinal varsity soccer team beat Channel Islands High this week, 5-1.
Sophomore Taylor Alvarado and senior Adrianna Nuñez each hit the goal for two points each. The fifth goal came off the foot of freshman Yasmin Velazquez. Alvarado also recorded an assist. Lupita Magaña also had an assist. The varsity girls are 3-0 so far this season.
The JV played the Raiders to a 0-0 tie.
