A year later and work is almost done

The new boys’ gym at Santa Paula High School is just about ready to reopen after a year of work.
The gym and auditorium at the school underwent major renovation work with a price tag of $5.5 million dollars. Most of the cost was paid by the state with matching funds from the district. McMahan Gym was built in the 1950s. Eakins Auditorium opened in the 1930s. The work started last August.A handful of community leaders got a sneak preview of the facilities recently. A public opening will be held soon.
